Hey there,
I have been going out with my girlfriend for a couple of years now and I really think that she is the ONE. When I was planning out my proposal, fixing all the kinks so that way it could be perfect. My girlfriend and I have a lot of "our" things so I was able to think of a proposal idea that was easy and meaningful. (She is really into cliches so I just needed to watch the Notebook or some other chick flick and I was good to go.)
When it comes to jewelry, my extent of knowledge in this is basically watches. I know nothing. I went to a couple of stores but I got the feeling that they were just trying to sell my the priciest ring without even listening to what I had to say. Because the economy is so low now, I felt that they just needed a sale, but I needed all the facts before I invested my money into an engagement ring for my girlfriend.
Surprisingly, I found almost all the information I needed online. Not sketchy, random sites but legitimate engagement ring sites. (www.engagementguide.com for those who were curious.) I found this chart, Seven Facts for Six Metals. It laid out all the facts for me. What do you think?
